Terms

The rules for using Acevia, in plain words. By creating an account you agree to them and to the privacy notice.
What Acevia is
Acevia builds study levels from the course material you add, plans your path to the exam and marks your answers. It’s free, invite-only and still early: things change, and sometimes break.
Your account
- One account per person, with your real email. Keep your password to yourself.
- You must be at least 16.
- You can delete your account at any time from Your account.
What you add
- Only add material you’re allowed to use for your own studying, such as your course’s slides, notes and past exams. You keep every right to it.
- You let us process it to build your levels, which includes sending parts of it to AI model providers (see the privacy notice). Your courses are yours alone: other students don’t see them.
Fair use
- Each day has a limit on new levels, and each month on new courses. They keep Acevia free.
- Don’t try to get around the limits, break or overload the service, get at other people’s data, or use Acevia to cheat in a graded assessment.
- We may suspend an account that does, and we’ll tell you why.
AI makes mistakes
Levels, explanations and marks are made by AI from your material. They’re checked, but they can still be wrong. Your course and your teachers have the final word. Acevia isn’t connected to any university.
No guarantees
Acevia is provided as it is, without a promise that it’s always available or error-free, or that it gets you a particular grade. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses from using it. Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer.
Changes and ending
We may change these terms; if a change matters, we’ll email you before it applies. We may also close Acevia, and would give you at least 30 days’ notice. These terms are governed by Portuguese law.
